Long answer
Just like masturbation, watching porn is a perfectly healthy and OK thing to do.. until it becomes and addiction. Addiction happens when your repetitively do something that makes you feel good. When you combined masturbation with porn, intense amounts of dopamine are released, literally rewiring your brain and forming an addiction.
As you watch more porn, your tolerance for stimulation also increases. This makes it harder and harder for reality to turn you on. In many cases, watching porn becomes better than having sex and as a result, relationships are affected. You may even begin to see your mate as less attractive.
Other problems porn addictions create include: getting an erection may become harder (can eventually lead to erectile dysfunction), lower energy levels / fatigue / depression, delayed ejaculation, lower testosterone levels, masturbating without porn becomes impossible, and when thinking about sex you immediately begin to think about all of the irrational possibilities you find on the internet.
If you feel you may be addicted to porn, it's time to stop now. As you continue to watch the online fantasies, the addiction will only become worse as more dopamine is released. Fortunately, our brains work as a "use it or lose it" system, meaning if you stop one habit and focus on a healthier one, your brain will ignore and eventually tune out the old desire.
Please note that most of this information goes for men only, as women have a very different perception on sexuality.
